Background:
Led by Jack Oswald, a successful serial entrepreneur who has built several companies from the ground up in a wide variety of technical fields, the management team at ISOThrive has executed crisply in many areas including R&D, intellectual property creation, product production and scale up, and science collaborations.
We have assembled a world class team of professionals in all areas of required competence: management, commercialization, business development, clinical research, bench science, microbiome analytics, and production engineering.

Jack Oswald, MBA
ISOThrive Co-Founder, CEO and CTO AB Dartmouth, MBA Harvard. Former company was sold to Motorola. One of the inventors of ISOT-101, Jack is a visionary leader providing overall strategy and direction, scientific and engineering expertise.
John Selling, MD
ISOThrive Co-Founder and Chief Medical Officer, GI Studies, is Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine and Gastroenterology, Stanford Medical School. He has 33 years experience in GI physiology research and practice, with published research in NEJM, Annals of Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.
Lee R. Madsen II, PhD
ISOThrive Co-founder and Chief Science Officer is one of the world’s leading carbohydrate researchers, one of the inventors of ISOT-101, and head of ISOThrive’s R&D laboratory in Manassas, VA.
Peter Swann, MD
ISOThrive Co-founder and Chief Medical Officer, Clinical Affairs, is a subject matter expert in the fields of prebiotics, probiotics and the microbiome. He is a Board Certified Family Physician with a focus on patient health, wellness and prevention.

We have assembled a collaboration of prominent Universities across the U.S., to study ISOT-101.
Led by Michael Vaezi, MD a globally recognized expert in the study and treatment of GERD with 20 years’ experience in managing multi-site clinical trials, additional clinic locations and Site PIs include Stanford University, Eastern Virginia Medical School, Washington University St. Louis and University of Virginia. This extends our ongoing collaboration with George Mason University’s Microbiome Analysis Center.
Michael Vaezi, MD, PhD
He is a Professor of Medicine , Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition (Vanderbilt) . Dr. Vaezi is a globally recognized expert in the study and treatment of GERD.
Pat Gillevet, PhD
He is Director of GMU’s Microbiome Analysis Center and has over 30 years’ expertise in microbiome analysis.
David Johnson, MD
He is a Professor of Medicine and Chief of Gastroenterology (EVMA), an expert in upper GI diseases and a recognized author on the microbiome in health and disease.
Jeanetta Frye, MD
She is an Assistant Professor (UVA) and an expert in upper GI diseases and motility.
John Clarke, MD
He is a Clinical Associate Professor, Medicine, Gastroenterology and Hepatology, Director Esophageal Program (Stanford) and an expert in the study and treatment of GERD.
Prakash Gyawali, MD
He is a Professor of Medicine, Director Neurogastroenterology and Motility, Director GI Fellowship Training, (Washington University, St. Louis) and has extensive experience in researching upper GI disorders, including GERD.

Natalie McClure, PhD (regulatory)
She brings more than 20 years of regulatory affairs experience with specific expertise supporting early stage companies in successfully advancing drug candidates through FDA approval.
MW (market strategy)
He is an expert in GERD and PPI markets. He launched two of the highest selling PPIs (Prevacid and Dexilant) and is supporting the commercialization effort to position ISOT-101 for success in the GERD space.
Christian Barnes, MPA (business development)
He is a former global business development director, Nestle Health Science, has been brought on to lead business development and licensing.
Kent Elmer, CPA (CFO)
He is a CPA with more than 20 years of broad-based experience. Every private sector company that Kent has worked for has successfully navigated its way through the acquisition process.
Chris Jeffers, PhD, Esq (legal)
He provides legal and strategic expertise for life sciences companies. He has the rare ability to get “into the weeds” of complex technology and is supporting business, commercial, and financing.
